We rank games, movies, music (albums and songs), TV shows, and books. Each medium has its own consensus ranking built from critic lists.

Ranking methodology

We pull ranked lists from 10,008 lists from 1,312 publishers, weight them to correct for recency bias, and run head-to-head comparisons using a Condorcet voting method. Our methodology page has the full breakdown.

Update frequency

We update rankings as new source lists come in. Each ranking page shows its last-updated date.

Missing titles

A title needs enough source lists to generate a reliable head-to-head comparison. Niche or very recent releases may not have enough data yet.
